ResearchQ - Tool for Easier Research Work
ResearchQ is a free Chrome extension developed by stardate97 that aims to provide easier access to research work. This handy tool offers a range of features to assist users in their research endeavors.
With ResearchQ, users can conveniently access various research-related resources using the context menu. By right-clicking, they can quickly redirect to the Scihub page of a research paper or search for the selected article on Google Scholar. Additionally, if the article is available on Scihub, users can directly download it with the filename saved as the title of the article instead of the default name. Furthermore, ResearchQ allows users to find the meaning, noun, and part-of-speech tag of a selected English word from the dictionary.
The extension also provides a convenient popup interface where users can toggle to disable the side navbar in Scihub, enhancing readability while browsing research papers. Moreover, ResearchQ offers a keyboard shortcut (Alt+Q) that opens the current window URL quickly in incognito mode and deletes the URL record from the browser history.
ResearchQ is a valuable tool for researchers, students, and anyone involved in academic pursuits. Its intuitive features and accessibility make it a great addition to the Chrome browser for smoother research experiences.
